Giving Thanks
There are so many things to be Thankful for, things that I have been blessed with in my life and never want to take for granted.
Like the day I married my best friend, 12 years ago…
The way he always makes me laugh with his infectious sense of humor. (No trees were harmed in this picture)…
And his sharing in my vision for our home, and his ability to help me achieve my dreams…
Even when it seemed like we would never get through it all, and the finish line looked like it was a million miles away, he was always there by my side supporting me and my goals…
I am so Thankful for our home, our sweet little Cottage8…
I am Thankful beyond words for my family…
I am Thankful for my Mom always believing in me, seeing very the best in me, even when I couldn’t see it myself…
And I am Thankful for my Dad who has taught me the value of life, how to navigate my way through this sometimes challenging world with my head held high, and remain strong and proud…
I am thankful for all the laughter and good times we’ve shared…
And I am Thankful for those that I had the opportunity to know and share a part of their life during their time in this world. My Grandpa Jack and Grandma Vivian who I carry in my heart…
And my Grandpa Jack and my Grandma Ann who will remain in my heart as well…

I am thankful to my dear Chloe who still manages to prevent me from working at my desk, but looks pretty cute doing it…

And my dear Skylar, who always makes me laugh with his personality and charm…

And I am thankful for when all is quiet and peaceful in this house…

You do indeed have much to be thankful for.
ReplyDeleteI too am lucky enough to be married to a man who loves photo shots that are silly.
You have been blessed. A lovely home you have both created.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful post. It is always such a heart-warming thing to count out blessings. Hope your holiday was fabulous!
ReplyDeleteJennifer,
ReplyDeleteFirst I have to say that if you hadn't said she was your Mom, I would have guessed sister of friend. She looks great! Secondly, you look just like your Grandma Vivian and apparently you take after your Grandpa Jack and Grandma Ann who are pictured, I think, at an antique show. Nice family and a cutie for a husband...Happy Holidays, Tami E.
Hi Jen,
