Last minute gifts for under the tree

I’ve learned to pretty much steer clear of all shopping malls, shopping centers, and stores in general around this time of year. Parking lots especially are the worst. There’s always that one open spot that three cars are simultaneously trying to score at once, each person thinking they’re entitled to that spot, and it becomes one big honk fest. Or there’s the “third time’s a charm” maneuver – circling around and around the parking lot, knowing that at any second a car is going to pull out. Only to find that the car that is going out is one isle over, so you do the mad dash and hit the pedal to the metal, taking no prisoners – only to have chosen the slowest moving person on the planet. They fumble in their purse for their keys. Then they begin loading their bags, rummaging through them, because I don’t know – you were just in the store 5 minutes ago and already forgot what you purchased? They finally get in and sit down, and just when you’re ready to go full force on the accelerator, out comes the cell phone and/or lipstick. Hello! So you put your blinker on, thinking this may encourage them to shake a leg, and that only seems to make time stand still. Finally, you give up and begin looking for the next open spot, and as you pull away and look in your rear view mirror, that person just backed out, and before you can even put it in reverse, out of nowhere, another car casually drives right into your spot. Ah, the irony of life.

So this got me thinking..I’d like to do a little something special for you guys, because #1, if you’re reading this, you’re taking time out of your busy day to visit my blog, which I really appreciate. And #2, I adore my readers and you guys are just awesome. I would like to offer a special to my blog readers only, kind of like a secret sale. And best of all, it does not involve parking lots: Today and tomorrow only (the 19th and the 20th) go to my website and use the code BLOGGERSROCK when checking out to receive 10% off your entire order. Plus, it’s always Free Shipping on my website!
