Cottage8 Photo Shoot - Fifi, Mark and Sunday..Oh My!
A really big dream of mine recently became a reality. We had Fifi and crew here, shooting our home for Fifi’s upcoming decorating book, coming out Spring 2011.
That’s Mark Lohman, photographer (right), Fifi O’Neill (center), and Sunday Hendrickson, photo stylist (left). I can’t tell you what an uplifting experience it was to be amongst such a talented group of people.
Chez Fifi, is the editor for Romantic Country magazine. Everything about this woman is simply divine…For those of you that don’t already know her, Fifi O’Neill, author of the blog
Witnessing the entire photo shoot process, from concept to completion, and hearing the thoughts and ideas surrounding each shot was really interesting. It was definitely a “fly on the wall” experience..
During photo shoot day, I secretly referred to my kitchen as the “eye of the hurricane”. It quickly became the gathering spot for props. While I can’t show you the completed photos, I assure you, this room came out completely stunning…
This was the first thing that greeted me that morning, besides Miss Sunday. And yes, my house smelled amazing all day long!

As I have more information on the book, I promise to share. For right now, all I can tell you is it comes out early Spring 2011. So how many days away is that? : )

I am in the process or restoring my kitchen to it's Victorian roots(or at least so it looks like it fits the house) and was wondering about your counters. Are they butcher block? thanks, k
